Siemens has launched PAVE360 Automotive, a pre-integrated digital twin platform designed to streamline the development of software-defined vehicles. The new offering enables automakers and suppliers to begin full-system integration immediately, reducing setup time from months to days.
Highlights
- Day-one deployment: PAVE360 Automotive delivers a ready-to-use, system-level digital twin, eliminating the need for customers to build virtual environments from scratch.
- Arm integration: The platform incorporates Arm Zena Compute Subsystem, potentially accelerating software development by up to two years.
- Unified workflow: A single digital twin serves all development teams, enabling cloud-based collaboration across ADAS, AD, and IVI functions.
- Availability: General release is scheduled for February 2026, with live demonstrations at CES 2026 from January 6–9.
Addressing Rising Vehicle Complexity
Vehicle hardware and software complexity continues to escalate, placing significant pressure on development teams to accelerate innovation while managing system-level interdependencies. Traditional methodologies struggle to coordinate ADAS, autonomous driving, and in-vehicle infotainment functions effectively.
PAVE360 Automotive addresses this challenge by providing customizable virtual reference designs from the earliest development phases. The platform allows teams to add software, models, and external hardware as needed while validating against real-world feedback through connections to physical hardware.
“The automotive industry is at the forefront of the software-defined everything revolution,” said Tony Hemmelgarn, president and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software. “PAVE360 Automotive will empower automotive companies to innovate with confidence, agility and scale.”

Key Platform Capabilities
The PAVE360 Automotive platform offers several core functions:
- Virtual reference designs for ADAS, AD, and IVI systems available at project start
- Cloud-based collaboration through a unified digital twin environment
- Scalable architecture supporting additional software, models, and hardware integration
- Hardware-like simulation speed leveraging the latest automotive IP
- Physical validation by connecting digital twins to real vehicle hardware
Arm Partnership Deepens Integration
Siemens has expanded its collaboration with Arm following earlier work on virtual environments for Arm Cortex-A720AE in 2024 and Arm Zena Compute Subsystems in 2025. The latest integration brings Arm Zena CSS directly into PAVE360 Automotive.
“As vehicles become increasingly AI-defined, automakers and silicon partners need new ways to manage rising complexity without slowing innovation,” said Suraj Gajendra, vice president of products and solutions, Physical AI Business Unit, Arm. “With Arm Zena CSS available inside Siemens’ pre-integrated PAVE360 Automotive environment, partners can validate and iterate much earlier in the development cycle.”
Availability and CES 2026 Demonstration
PAVE360 Automotive is currently available to key customers, with general availability scheduled for February 2026. Siemens will demonstrate the platform live at CES 2026 in the Auto Hall from January 6–9.
Siemens AG CEO Roland Busch will deliver a keynote at the event showcasing AI, digital twin, and automation technologies.
