LUXEED has equipped its R7 crossover with Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP), a self-parking and remote-summon system that streams live video from four onboard cameras to the owner’s phone throughout the maneuver. The debut follows LUXEED‘s first global media test drive event in Dubai earlier this month, as the Chery Group-owned brand pushes into the Middle East’s premium mobility segment. Built on the company’s existing intelligent mobility technology, SIVP pairs autonomous parking with remote vehicle retrieval through a dedicated mobile app. The system is designed for underground garages, shopping malls and luxury hotels — venues LUXEED says are common pain points for drivers in the region.

How SIVP Works
Owners drop the R7 off at a designated point and summon it back later through the mobile app, which relays the vehicle from its parking spot to a pickup location. During the maneuver, the company says the vehicle follows traffic flow, detects and avoids obstacles, and adjusts its own acceleration and deceleration. Live feeds from the four onboard cameras keep the owner informed of the vehicle’s status in real time, and a one-touch button lets them halt the vehicle instantly if needed.
Once parking is complete, SIVP locks the doors, closes the windows and shuts down the powertrain without driver input — what LUXEED describes as a fully unmanned parking cycle.
360-Degree Perception and Safety Behavior
SIVP relies on a sensor suite combining high-definition surround-view cameras, millimeter-wave radar and ultrasonic radar to read underground parking environments — identifying static obstacles, pedestrians, passing vehicles, curbs and bay markings, according to the company. The system is built to slow down for pedestrians, reverse to clear space for oncoming vehicles on narrow driveways, and reduce speed when it detects parking attendants nearby. In tight spaces, it automatically folds the side mirrors to reduce the risk of scratches.
Positioning for the Middle East
LUXEED, a premium brand under Chery Group, frames SIVP as a technology-driven alternative to hotel valet service — one the company says protects owner privacy while parking is handled autonomously rather than by a third party. The feature is aimed at high-frequency scenarios like commercial complex garages, financial-district parking and luxury hotel valet stands.
The R7’s debut adds LUXEED to a growing list of Chery-affiliated brands introducing Super Intelligent Valet Parking as part of their Middle East expansion plans.
