Kaixin Auto Holdings, a frontrunner in China’s new energy vehicle sector, has announced a strategic collaboration with DeepBlue Artificial Intelligence Technology Company. This joint venture aims to integrate DeepBlue AI Technology’s advanced AI autonomous driving technology into Kaixin’s mass-produced electric vehicles (EVs), heralding the arrival of a new generation of AI autopilot EVs focused on market-oriented operations.
DeepBlue AI Technology, established in 2014 by a cadre of senior engineers with doctoral degrees from abroad, has made notable strides in artificial intelligence research and application. The company’s research arm, the DeepBlue Academy of Sciences, comprises several research institutes dedicated to AI, smart car technology, automation, and scientific computing. These institutions boast an impressive record, having secured over 50 world championships and 120 top-three placements in global computer science and AI contests. Recognized as a national-level specialized and emerging baby giant enterprise, DeepBlue AI Technology has made its mark across various sectors, including intelligent driving and smart cities, and has featured in the “Global 500 Artificial Intelligence Unicorns” list.
Possessing L4 autonomous driving technology, DeepBlue AI Technology has already introduced several smart car products to the market. The company’s achievements include obtaining the first batch of autonomous driving commercial licenses in China in collaboration with Baidu, and the successful launch of its self-driving Panda buses in multiple Chinese cities.
