Gatik has raised $200 million in a Series D round led by the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), capital the autonomous trucking company will put toward scaling driverless freight across Fortune 50 retail, grocery and CPG supply chains. Millennium Management, ARK Invest and Intact Private Capital also participated in the round. Gatik reports more than $600 million in contracted revenue, 85,000 completed fully driverless orders and 99% on-time delivery across operations that connect distribution centers and stores on high-frequency regional routes.

Where the Capital Goes
The financing supports expansion of the regional model Gatik has built its business around: high-frequency routes linking distribution centers and stores. The company characterizes those routes as time-sensitive and operationally complex, and central to keeping shelves stocked as customers expect faster and more predictable access to everyday products.

Why Are Investors Backing Regional Autonomous Freight?
Both lead investors framed the round around commercial operations rather than technology development. “Autonomous freight is transforming the global logistics industry, making it more efficient and reliable,” said Abdulla Al-Kuwari, Head of Industrials at QIA. “QIA is committed to supporting next-generation solutions providers like Gatik that are shaping the future of freight infrastructure.”
Byron Knight, President of Koch Disruptive Technologies, pointed to the shift out of pilot programs. “What we’re seeing today is autonomy moving beyond a promising technology into real-world commercial operations. Gatik has demonstrated a practical approach to that transition, and we look forward to supporting the company’s continued growth.”
KDT first invested in Gatik in 2021, according to managing director Celeste Dauner, who said the firm’s decision to invest again reflects its conviction in the company’s model.

Fleet Footprint and Technology
Gatik’s AV stack is purpose-built for trucking across highways and surface streets, and its driverless trucks use dynamic routes that adjust to changing demand, distribution center activity, and pickup and drop-off requirements across commercial networks. The company operates dozens of driverless trucks across North America today and plans to expand to thousands in the years ahead.
Gatik runs driverless trucks daily for Fortune 50 retailers, grocers and CPG companies, moving freight between distribution centers and stores across Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Canada. The operations are powered by the Gatik Driver, which the company describes as a scalable, interpretable AI system built for high-frequency freight movement.
