This achievement makes WeRide the first and only company globally to hold similar permits in China, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and now Singapore.
The M1 license authorizes WeRide’s Robobus for large-scale testing on public roads, including prominent areas like One North and the National University of Singapore. Obtaining this prestigious license required navigating stringent assessments, covering various aspects like obstacle recognition, avoidance, and overall safety performance.
