Waymo, Raiders Announce Autonomous Ride-Hailing Partnership

The Las Vegas Raiders have named Waymo their Official Ride-Hailing Partner in a multi-year deal creating a dedicated autonomous vehicle pickup and drop-off area at Allegiant Stadium for all events.

The Las Vegas Raiders have named Waymo their Official Ride-Hailing Partner under a multi-year agreement that establishes a dedicated Waymo pickup and drop-off area at Allegiant Stadium. The team says the deal is the first between a professional football team and an autonomous vehicle company. Wayfinding signage at the venue will direct riders to the designated area for all games, concerts, and major events.

Highlights

  • Multi-year agreement names Waymo the Raiders’ Official Ride-Hailing Partner
  • Dedicated pickup and drop-off area at Allegiant Stadium, supported by wayfinding signage
  • Coverage spans all stadium events, including games, concerts, and other major events
  • Rider benefits include a “Kickoff Kid” program, pre-game field passes, and upgraded VIP seats

Dedicated Curb Space at Allegiant Stadium

Fans traveling to the stadium with Waymo will be routed to a designated pickup and drop-off zone rather than to general venue access points. The Raiders say the signage and dedicated area are intended to standardize rider arrivals and departures across the full event calendar rather than for football games alone.

Sandra Douglass Morgan, President of the Las Vegas Raiders, tied the arrangement to the arrival experience.

“Fans come to Allegiant to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments, and getting in that mindset all begins and ends with the journey,” said Morgan. “Partnering with Waymo reflects our drive to lead the industry in innovation and provide fans the best experience. Most importantly, it gives them a safe, reliable autonomous designated driver so they can focus entirely on enjoying the event.”

What Riders Receive Beyond the Trip

The partnership attaches in-venue benefits to Waymo ridership. According to the Raiders, riders will have access to a “Kickoff Kid” program, pre-game field passes, and upgraded VIP seats over the course of the season. The announcement does not specify how riders qualify or how frequently the benefits are awarded.

Community Programs and Rider Access

Waymo and the Raiders also said the two organizations will collaborate on local engagement initiatives in Las Vegas, describing programming that continues outside of game days and supports neighborhood programs year-round. No specific initiatives, funding figures, or partner organizations were identified.

Suzanne Philion, Chief Marketing Officer at Waymo, framed the deal around the company’s event-transportation record.

“We’re proud to partner with the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium as we continue forming strong and lasting relationships across the Las Vegas community,” said Philion. “We have a proven history of helping riders safely navigate major events, and partnering with the Raiders and Allegiant Stadium allows us to create a convenient and magical experience for riders.”
