SHENZHEN, China – RoboSense, a provider of Smart LiDAR Sensor Systems, has announced a partnership with Toyota, the world’s largest car manufacturer, for large-scale production. Toyota, which has been the top-selling automaker for three consecutive years, selling 10.5 million vehicles in 2022, will collaborate with RoboSense on a number of its top-selling models.
The partnership will involve the integration of RoboSense’s RS-LiDAR-M series LiDAR into Toyota vehicles, providing them with advanced perception capabilities and increasing the safety of their intelligent models. The M-series LiDAR is the only second-generation smart solid-state LiDAR in the world designed for automotive series production, and has already received orders for more than 50 models from 20 different car companies.
RoboSense has a professional CNAS accredited lab and the largest production and intelligent manufacturing system in the industry, which will allow it to meet Toyota’s high-quality production requirements. This partnership makes RoboSense a part of the supply chain for both the top-selling car brands worldwide, solidifying its position as a leader in the global LiDAR market.
Previously, RoboSense has also partnered with BYD, a pioneer in new energy vehicles, on various models. With its partnership with Toyota, RoboSense continues to demonstrate its commitment to the development and production of advanced technologies in the automotive industry.
