Lyft CEO David Risher has announced that autonomous vehicles (AVs) will hit the roads as early as 2026, expanding the ride-hailing company’s vision for self-driving transportation. The announcement, made via social media, highlights a key collaboration with Marubeni Corporation, a global leader in fleet ownership and financing, to bring Mobileye-powered AVs to the Lyft platform.
