How our stories are produced
Most news articles on Self Drive News are drafted with AI assistance from company announcements, regulatory filings, recall notices and other public sources. Every article is then reviewed, edited and approved by Brian Hagman before it is published. People, not software, decide what we cover and what we publish.
These articles carry the byline “Self Drive News Staff”. Interviews, analysis and commentary carry the name of the person who wrote them.
Sponsorship and independence
Self Drive News is free to read and funded by industry partners. That only works if readers can trust the page a partner appears on, so:
