General Motors has announced a strategic realignment to prioritize autonomous driving development for personal vehicles. This move marks a shift from robotaxi projects to enhancing advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), building on the success of Super Cruise. The company plans to integrate its technical teams with Cruise LLC to accelerate progress in autonomy and assisted driving technologies.

- Ownership Consolidation: GM plans to increase its stake in Cruise from 90% to over 97%, with efforts to acquire full ownership.
