Pronto, a leading Silicon Valley autonomous technology company, has announced a global agreement with Heidelberg Materials to deploy over 100 autonomous haul trucks at more than a dozen sites worldwide over the next three years. Following successful pilot programs in North America, Pronto’s Autonomous Haulage System (Pronto AHS) will be integrated into a combination of new and pre-owned rigid frame haul trucks, advancing Heidelberg’s digital innovation and sustainability goals.
Under the agreement, Pronto will also serve as Heidelberg Materials’ exclusive provider of autonomous technologies in North America, marking a significant milestone in the quarry and mining industries.

- Global Deployment: Over 100 Pronto AHS-equipped haul trucks to be deployed at Heidelberg Materials sites worldwide.
- North American Exclusivity: Pronto becomes Heidelberg’s sole autonomous technology provider in North America.
- Cost-Effective AI Technology: Pronto AHS uses advanced AI with a robust camera system, eliminating the need for expensive radar and lidar sensors.
- Rapid Implementation: Pronto AHS can be deployed in weeks at a fraction of the cost compared to competing systems.
- Successful Pilots: Initial pilots in Bridgeport, Texas, led to the first autonomous mixed OEM fleet in production in North America.
