This cutting-edge technology, once exclusive to original equipment manufacturers, is now available to the independent aftermarket. It enables workshops to service a growing number of vehicles equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), enhancing their capabilities and meeting rising market demands.

Driver assistance systems are now essential in modern vehicles, improving safety and driver comfort. Since July 2024, EU regulations have required features like Automatic Emergency Brake Assist, Intelligent Speed Assist, and Lane Departure Warning in all new cars. These systems depend on front cameras, making them vital for vehicle functionality.
ZF leads the industry as the top supplier of front cameras, delivering over ten million units yearly to 14 major automakers. With ADAS-equipped vehicles on the rise, the need for repair and maintenance services is set to surge. The ZF Smart Camera addresses this by allowing independent workshops to replace and repair camera sensors, a task previously restricted to OEMs. It comes in ten variants, supporting over 50 models, including those from Stellantis Group and Nissan.
Beyond the camera, ZF Aftermarket provides a full ADAS ecosystem. This includes the ZF MultiScan diagnostic software for calibration and ZF’s calibration walls for precise adjustments. Through the ZF [pro]Tech workshop concept, technicians receive specialized training to become ADAS experts.
