Strengthening Technical Expertise

Rob Flenniken joins as Vice President of Vehicle Software. With over two decades of experience, including a significant role at Cruise scaling its robotaxi fleet, Flenniken will lead the creation of a stable and scalable vehicle software platform. This platform is essential for enabling rapid AI model development and ensuring robust integration with automotive hardware.
Uri Wolfovitz has been appointed the Production Software and Optimisation Director. Wolfovitz has over 17 years of experience in AI and autonomy, notably as the former VP of Performance Optimisation at Mobileye. He will oversee the development and deployment of Wayve’s middle ground reference platforms, leveraging his deep expertise in computer vision and AI.
Dennis Jackson steps into the role of Engineering Director for the Development Fleet Software team. Jackson brings 25 years of experience from the autonomous vehicle and medical device industries, including leading embedded software testing at Cruise. At Wayve, he will be responsible for the development and testing of on-vehicle embedded systems and improving the reliability of the company’s prototypes.
