Trimble® has expanded its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to enhance positioning accuracy for automated vehicles. By integrating Trimble ProPoint® Go™ with the Snapdragon® Auto 5G Modem-RF Gen 2, the partnership delivers high-precision positioning solutions for applications ranging from advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X). The solution achieves accuracy within 10 centimeters, supporting automakers and Tier-1 suppliers as they advance toward higher levels of vehicle automation. Vehicles featuring this joint technology are projected to hit the roads by 2028.
