What’s Happening
STRADVISION, a pioneer in the automotive industry known for its deep learning-based vision perception technology, has just received the highest assessment level (AL3) of TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange). This prestigious assessment covers the most stringent requirements of several assessment objectives.
Why It Matters
The TISAX assessment is a crucial information security accreditation for participation in the German auto supply chain. It’s a testament to STRADVISION’s commitment to safety and reliability, indicating that the company has met the highest standard in the European automotive industry. This level of compliance enables STRADVISION to offer reliable services to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers across Europe and the world.
Key Points
TISAX, established in 2017 by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and the European Network Exchange (ENX), is an information security and exchange platform for the automotive industry. It aims to enforce stringent information security standards among automotive industry suppliers, including parts manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers. The assessment results of TISAX are widely recognized, exchanged, and trusted, effectively reducing the cost of repeated inspections by automakers.
Sunny Lee, COO and USA CEO of STRADVISION, noted the high security standards that their OEM customers, especially those in Europe, demand from their parts suppliers. STRADVISION’s strategy is to broaden its reach in global markets, including Europe, by leveraging its unique technology and top-tier security management capabilities.
Bottom Line
STRADVISION’s TISAX assessment was conducted on-site by DQS, a globally recognized TISAX assessment provider. It involved rigorous inspection of multiple aspects of the company’s information security, including data collection, storage, and processing; work equipment; IT systems; and associated contractors. Following this stringent audit process, STRADVISION achieved the top level of TISAX labeling, demonstrating a “Very High” capability in handling information with high protection needs.
This accomplishment, along with STRADVISION’s prior attainment of ISO information security management system certification (ISO/IEC 27001:2013), exemplifies that the company’s information security management system meets the optimal requirements of the European automotive industry.
In addition to the TISAX accreditation, STRADVISION has also recently become a member of both the VDA and CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers). The company has opened new offices in Friedrichshafen and Dusseldorf, Germany, and its proprietary SVNet software was recognized as the ‘Best-in-Class Software for Perception Systems’ at the 2022 AutoSens Awards in Brussels, Belgium. STRADVISION’s accomplishments reflect its steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest levels of security and excellence in its ongoing expansion within the global automotive industry.
