Hesai Technology unveiled two new lidar products at CES 2025 in Las Vegas: the AT1440, the world’s first automotive-grade lidar with 1440 channels, and the FTX solid-state lidar, boasting the world’s largest field of view for automotive applications. These innovations solidify Hesai’s leadership in lidar technology, setting new standards for resolution, field of view, and performance.

AT1440: Redefining Automotive Lidar Performance
The AT1440 is the world’s first 1440-channel automotive-grade lidar, leveraging Hesai’s Gen 4 proprietary technology platform. With ultra-high-definition image-level point clouds, the AT1440 delivers resolution more than 30 times higher than mainstream automotive lidars. Its precision captures fine details, making it ideal for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in passenger vehicles and autonomous driving.
FTX: Expanding Field of View and Compact Design
Hesai’s next-generation FTX solid-state lidar introduces an unmatched field of view (FOV) of 180° x 140° and a point rate of 492,000 points per second. Designed for ADAS-equipped passenger cars and robotic applications, the FTX detects blind-spot objects like strollers, pedestrians, and electric scooters with exceptional detail.
Weighing 66% less than its predecessor, the FTX’s compact design supports embedded installation, reducing the exposed window area to 50 x 30 mm. Its performance integrates seamlessly with long-range lidar for comprehensive L3 and L4 autonomous driving.

With over 100 design wins spanning 21 global automotive OEMs, including 6 of the top 10, Hesai is a proven leader in lidar technology.
