Hesai Technology, a global leader in lidar solutions, will be the exclusive provider of automotive long-range lidar for multiple models in Leapmotor’s next-generation vehicle platform. The first model is expected to enter mass production in 2025, marking a significant step in their collaboration in intelligent driving technologies.
Building on the strategic partnership established earlier this year, Hesai and Leapmotor have already equipped the Leapmotor C-series with Hesai’s ultra-high-definition long-range AT128 lidar, allowing for features like Navigation Assist Pilot (NAP) and Navigation Assisted Cruise (NAC). These features enhance Leapmotor’s capabilities in advanced intelligent driving functions.
Leapmotor has also expanded its reach in Europe, with over 200 dealers across 13 countries as of September 23rd. The company plans to grow this network to 500 sales points by the end of 2025, indicating strong commitment to international growth.
Hesai and Leapmotor will continue to leverage their respective strengths to deepen this exclusive partnership. This ongoing collaboration aims to support Leapmotor’s leadership in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and extend the application of intelligent driving technology on a global scale.
