Glydways, a leader in on-demand Automated Transit Networks (ATN), has been selected as the key technology provider for the ATL Airport CIDs Pilot Project in Atlanta. This marks Glydways’ third major project win in just over a year, following successful initiatives in San Jose and East Contra Costa County. Glydways’ system is designed to overcome traditional transit challenges, providing predictable, personalized, nonstop, 24/7, direct-to-destination rides at public transit prices. This zero-emission solution offers cities a way to reduce capital and operational costs while improving service reliability.
Glydways’ innovative transit solutions have attracted significant investments from industry leaders such as Khosla Ventures, New Science Ventures, and Suzuki, demonstrating broad confidence in the company’s vision for a new era of urban mobility.
The ATL Airport CIDs Pilot Project will feature a half-mile Demonstration Pilot located at the Gateway Center Area in College Park. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity between the ATL SkyTrain and the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC), providing a cutting-edge transit link for travelers and local residents.

The Atlanta Airport Community Improvement Districts (AACIDs) and the Atlanta Personal Rapid Transit Solutions (APRTS) team, which includes Glydways, ACS Infrastructure, Flatiron Construction, and ICE Engineering, are leading this transformative step forward in U.S. transit.
