Einride, a leading freight technology company, has announced a strategic leadership transition to strengthen its position in the global road freight market. Founder and CEO Robert Falck will become Executive Chairman, focusing on long-term strategy and innovation, while CFO Roozbeh Charli takes over as CEO to lead day-to-day operations and drive growth. Chairman Anders Böös will step down and become an advisor to the company.

In his new role as Executive Chairman, Robert Falck will focus on shaping Einride’s long-term trajectory, leading technology innovation, and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the sustainable freight transition. Falck, who founded Einride in 2016, has been instrumental in building the company into a global leader in freight technology.
Roozbeh Charli, who has served as CFO for the past five years, will take on the role of CEO effective immediately. Charli has played a key role in building Einride’s operational infrastructure and driving commercial momentum across Europe and North America. In his new position, he will lead the team in accelerating the company’s next phase of growth.
Anders Böös, who has served as Chairman of the Board, will step down from his position and transition into an advisory role. Böös has been a key figure in guiding Einride through a critical phase of expansion and governance maturity.
The leadership transition comes as Einride continues to expand its global presence and scale its operations. The company operates one of the largest fleets of heavy-duty electric trucks, servicing Global Fortune 500 companies across the US, Europe, and the UAE.
Einride designs, develops, and deploys freight mobility technologies to accelerate the transition to sustainable transportation. Its platform includes connected electric and autonomous heavy-duty vehicles, charging infrastructure, and an intelligent freight operating system. Founded in 2016, Einride became the world’s first company to operate an autonomous, electric vehicle on a public road in 2019.
