Nick Mulholland, with his deep knowledge of the auto, tech, and electric vehicle industries, is set to lead Cruise’s communication and marketing efforts.

Marc Whitten‘s impressive career includes being a founding engineer at Xbox, where he scaled technology to serve millions of gamers. At Amazon, he held senior positions overseeing Fire TV, Kindle, and other entertainment services. As Chief Product Officer at Sonos and later at Unity, he expanded the use of AI and real-time 3D technology, enhancing experiences across various platforms.
Mo Elshenawy will continue his role as President and Chief Technology Officer, while Craig Glidden will now focus solely on his duties as President and Chief Administrative Officer at GM. Both will report to Marc Whitten, along with Steve Kenner, the Chief Safety Officer.

In addition to Marc’s appointment, Cruise has also welcomed Nick Mulholland as the new Chief Communications & Marketing Officer. Nick previously led Rivian’s global communications team, including brand marketing, corporate, and sustainability communications. He brings a wealth of experience in the auto, tech, and electric vehicle sectors.
