Cainiao, a leader in e-commerce logistics and technology, has launched the Cainiao Autonomous Vehicle GT Pro, its latest L4-level autonomous vehicle designed for public road use. The GT Pro, an upgrade to the 2024 Cainiao GT, introduces advancements in design, range, algorithm optimization, and interactive features, enhancing its capabilities for autonomous deliveries.

- Compact and Adaptable Size: Measures 3694mm in length, 1299mm in width, and 2200mm in height, comparable to a compact passenger vehicle.
- Enhanced Cargo Capacity: Offers 5 cubic meters of cargo space, transporting 600–800 parcels per trip.
- Extended Range: Boasts a range of 180 kilometers for long-distance delivery efficiency.
- Improved Perception Technology: Features a multi-sensor fusion system with one LiDAR and eleven high-definition cameras for enhanced environmental awareness.
- Interactive Design Features: Equipped with an interactive front light display to communicate its status in various scenarios.
The GT Pro’s design upgrades emphasize operational efficiency and safety. The multi-sensor fusion system enhances environmental perception, improving its ability to detect and respond to surroundings. Its interactive front light display facilitates communication, providing real-time updates on its status.
Since its foray into autonomous delivery vehicles, Cainiao has accumulated over 5 million kilometers of driving experience, delivering more than 40 million parcels across diverse road environments. By December 2024, the Cainiao GT operated in over 10 Chinese provinces and 30 municipal-level regions, garnering praise for its efficiency and reliability.
