AB Dynamics has released the 2025a update to its Track Applications Suite, introducing significant usability enhancements and comprehensive automation for Euro NCAP’s new Heavy Vehicle ADAS protocols and NHTSA’s FMVSS 127 standard.
Key Highlights:
- Expanded Test Library: The update adds over 600 new pre-defined test scenarios to the Special Groups library, enabling users to enhance testing efficiency.
- Advanced Protocol Coverage: Inclusion of all ADAS test scenarios for Euro NCAP’s latest Heavy Vehicles protocols, such as the Heavy Goods Bicycle Nearside Turn Across Path (HBNTAP) test, and compliance with FMVSS 127, which has the industry’s highest speed requirements at 90 mph.
- Safety Enhancements: Incorporation of customizable abort procedures to protect test assets during high-speed tests, mitigating potential unplanned contact.
- Improved Integration: Scenario Generator now supports OpenDrive file compatibility, facilitating seamless integration with existing test infrastructure.
- Efficient Updates: Introduction of a network-based system update feature via the Track Applications Manager, allowing bulk updates across large fleets of AB Dynamics test equipment.
- Ground Traffic Control (GTC) Software: The 2025a update includes the latest version of GTC software, available in two versions: GTC Core for simple ADAS testing and GTC Pro for advanced applications like durability and mileage accumulation testing.
The Track Applications Suite encompasses all necessary tools to simplify and automate the creation, setup, variation, and execution of industry-standard ADAS tests. Sophisticated synchronization between driving robots and target platforms enables the execution of complex scenarios, while the capability to review pass/fail results immediately after test runs further enhances efficiency.
